We had the double room which was new-fashioned and nicely furnished.

The room I stayed in at Unicorn in Selby was absolutely amazing! It had a cozy seating area and a flat-screen TV with streaming services, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The soundproof walls ensured that I had a quiet and peaceful sleep. Plus, the private bathroom with a bath and shower was a luxurious touch. Trust me, you'll feel like a king or queen in this room!

Personally, I found the balcony with a garden view in some units a bit unnecessary. But hey, it's just my opinion and I can understand why others might enjoy it.

The stay was fine. The breakfast had a lot of amazing food and drinks. The hotel was in a residential location in the middle of the city. What's more, it was close to town centre and Selby.

Unfortunately Wi-Fi didn't reach the room.

During my recent stay at Unicorn, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and provided helpful information during check-in. The on-site free parking and 24-hour keycard access to our room were convenient features. The towels and toiletries provided added to the comfort of our stay.

Although the hotel offered great value for money, the absence of a breakfast service was a slight drawback. Additionally, the lack of a long mirror in the room was a minor inconvenience.

I could enjoy a hot cup of coffee while enjoying the lovely garden views. The private bathroom was spacious and clean. It had both a bath and a shower, and the provided toiletries were a nice touch.

Personally, I didn't find much use for the bath in the private bathroom. But I understand that some guests might still enjoy it.
